Defining constraint-based plans
The following post will show you how to define constraints parameters for your plans. Simulations based on constrained plans can help you to understand better the stakes of your supply chain.
Plan constraints for materials and resources can be defined here:
- Advanced Supply Chain Planner: Supply Chain Plan > Options (select your plan)

Plan considering material constraints only
Setting Constraints:- Check either Enforce Demand Due Dates or Enforce Capacity Constraints checkbox. You can check only one checkbox
- Constrained Plan checkbox: Checked
- Resource Constraints fields: No
- Supplier Capacity Constaints fields: Yes
